Build guide

Rhykker suggests the Marauder Set as a Season 18 starter. In Season 18, start a Challenge Rift first. Then create a level 1 Seasonal 18 character to benefit from the Challenge Rift rewards: 4.6 million gold and materials for artisans and crafting: 35 Death's Breath, 100 Veiled Crystals, 300 Reusable Parts, 15 of each Bounty material. 475 Blood shards for when you reach level 30 so you can gamble on Quivers at Kadala. There are only 2 quivers available at level 30, so you should aim for the Sin Seekers which you can keep through you leveling up to level 70. This quiver is a huge boon to rapid fire damage.

From level 1-30, try to get a Hellcat Wasteguard to buff your grenade generator skill and skills with runes that increase grenade damage.

Equip Rubies on your helm (Leoric's Helm) and weapon. At level 30, you don't have enough crit to make an Emerald gem worthwhile, so go with the Ruby on the weapon instead.

From level 1-70 (before obtaining a 4-piece bonus), you should have Sentry (Spitfire Turret Rune). Once you obtain the 4-piece bonus, switch to Sentry (Guardian Turret).

From level 1-70 (before obtaining the 4-piece bonus, you should have the following passive skills: Ballistics, Thrill of the Hunt, Cull the Weak, and Blood Vengeance. After obtaining the 4-piece bonus, switch to Ballistics, Leech, Custom Engineering, and Numbing Traps. Rhykker suggests that you can keep Blood Vengeance if you wish to stick to vengeance regeneration, but Numbing Traps cause enemies to do less damage (for toughness and added defense). It's optional.

At level 70, with a full Marauder bonus set, Rhykker suggests the Captain Crimson's Silk Girdle, Thrust, and Waders set because it has been buffed in Patch 2.6.6 (Regenerates 6000 Life per sec. Reduces cooldown of all skills and resource costs by 20%. Damage dealt increased by your percentage of cooldown reduction and damage taken reduced by your percentage of cost reduction). Rhykker suggests only going for a Captain Crimson's Trimmings 2-piece bonus (Belt + one of these: Boots or Legs). It doesn't matter which, but boots might be ideal to reserve the legs for the Marauder 6-piece bonus.

Aim for a Ring of Royal Grandeur (Obtained from Act I bounty bags).

At level 70, switch to an Emerald gem for the weapon, and all your gear to Diamond gems.

In your Kanai's Cube you can use the Elusive Ring or Convention of Elements (Group) or Unity (Solo) with your follower wearing another Unity.
