Wrath of the Lich King Beta Opt-In Now Open

Blizzplanet invites all its visitors and members with at least two months of an active paid-subscription to World of Warcraft to join this Closed Beta Opt-In opportunity.  If you are not selected, you will still have a few more opportunities.  Stay tuned to the official WoW site and to Blizzplanet for upcoming announcements concerning Closed Beta Fansites Contests. Once those get announced you may apply on various fansites contests for extra chances to win one. Read below and follow the link to the official WoW Site where an option to automatically enter the Beta Opt-In may be found. Good luck!

I am skeptic still, but the same person who came up with the Hydra rumor, approached me again after a bit over a year.  Take it with a grain of salt, but beta seems to be VERY close. I won’t say when to be on the safe side, and not anger certain … umm, lovely german-temper.

Today we opened the Wrath of the Lich King Beta Opt-In program, which gives players a chance to win an invitation to the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King beta. For The Burning Crusade beta, we randomly invited players from the entire World of Warcraft community. With the Opt-In, our goal is to strengthen the beta-testing process by inviting only those players who have expressed active interest in participating.

Keep in mind that opting in doesn’t guarantee you’ll be selected for the beta. And players who’ve previously been promised beta access through a promotion or contest (such as by purchasing the Dell XPS M1730 World of Warcraft Edition notebook) don’t need to worry—you’ll still be entered into the beta automatically when the time comes.

To opt in to the Wrath of the Lich King beta, visit the Beta Opt-In page.
