Oh Noes! Harrison Jones … Lives !

I have been playing a lot in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Beta. Just finished all Dragonblight quests, and decided to move forward to Grizzly Hills. About to 1/4 away to hit level 75.  Looking around for quests to do in Grizzly Hills, I returned to the Drakil’jin Ruins. Guess who I found there? Harrison Jones.  Alive and kicking.  Well more like back in trouble again.

I found him imprisoned in a cage by the Drakkari Trolls. It is a soloable escort quest. There were a couple of references from the Indiana Jones films.  One of them was his phobia for snakes from Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Harrison Jones: You’d better get outta here unless you want to find yourself in one of these cages …

YOU: Harrison Jones?  Didn’t you expire back in Zul’Aman?

Harrison Jones: Expire? Me? Heh, not hardly, kid. That was just a scratch.

Once the escort starts Harrison Jones walks out of the cage and leads you toward a chamber.

Harrison Jones: Their ceremonial chamber, where I was to be sacrificed.  Time to put an end to all this!

He opens a cage and sets to freedom a woman named Adarrah. She says Thanks and blows a kiss to him. Then she runs away.

Harrison Jones: You’re free to go, miss.

Adarrah: Thank you!

As soon as I saw Harrison Jones walk toward the gong, I knew something aweful was about to happen. /facepalm.

Harrison Jones: Odd.  That usually does it. Just as well, I’ve had enough of this place.

Nothing happened after he knocked the gong twice, so he went on his merry way back to the chamber’s exit. Except the Drakkari troll spirits had other plans. The doorway gets blocked by a barrier of flames.

Harrison Jones: What’s this?

As we turn around, there is a 20 feet tall … gulp … elite Zul’Farrak Snake.

Harrison Jones: Aww, not a snake!  Listen kid.  I can handle this thing. You just watch my back.

As if the elite snake wasn’t bad enough, he asks me to watch his back?  Now that didn’t sound good.  We got company.
